Yeah there is also a bit of a competitive e-sports kind of feel to some of the championships, you can certainly just queue into a race with others whenever you like, there is usually events popping up every few minutes to queue for. From what i have seen in youtube vids of the Gran Turismo there are lobbys for races that go off every 15 mins similiar to I-Racing and driver ratings that penalize or reward pending on how clean you drive ?Īlso I do love the livery in forza there is one in turismo from what i have read but can other players see your decals/livery designs when racing ? So there is definitely more skill involved as it tends to limit cars to be a lot more balanced so it comes down to pure driving skill rather than using the right tune to win. In Gran Turismo you can just right into races with others a lot easier and it takes effort to get good cars and win races since you can't just use OP cars with OP tunes which is 99% of the races in Forza. Gran Turismo does take more effort to win races and get cars yes, in Forza you can just pick a top car you won in the wheelspin, download a tune and win effortlessly entire championships, Online racing with others is not that great either. In Gran Turismo you can just jump right into races with others a lot easier and it takes effort to get good cars and win races since you can't just use OP cars with OP tunes which is 99% of the races in Forza. In the races I've done it just people flexing with the best cars running the best tunes and unless you too are using that car/tune you will lose regardless of skill. Forza is more arcadey than Gran Turismo and imo Gran Turismo has more realistic handling but Forza has better customization and being in an open world driving with others is a huge plus.
